SOulful Artist Spotlight!!!
Ok so last night I was watching VH1 Soul and I saw this video by Melanie Fiona called "Give it to me Right" and was blown away!!! This chick is what SoUl music has been missing since Vivan Green's "Emotional Rollercoaster." He swag is crazy and her voice is so smooth and soulful, she will definitely be the next person to bump Amy winehouse out of her rehabilitated spotlight LOL!! Another artist that I need to give a shout out to is Tess Henley she has this song on Pandora called "Hitting Me Hard Now" there is not much out there about her or how she got started but I feel that she needs to get more exposure since she plays piano, sings, and writes! These two ladies wrapped into one brings me to my final artist who DEFINITELY describes SOUL to the T, TARAGIRL! You have got to check this lady out, I am glad to say that I personally know her, she is talented, little person but Big voice, and best of all she is a VIrgo :) Shouts out to TARAGIRL

WELCOME...
Hello Bloggers and Followers,
This is my first official blog so criticism is welcomed...but of course not to much :) I plan on showcasing what I think is hot, and sooo not!, Outfits that I have put together, relationship stuff, as well as whatever else I feel moves me. Tomorrow I am going to the Museum at FIT for the Isabel Toledo "Talk and Tour" session, for those of you who don't know who she is, she is a Cuban :) Fashion designer who happened to design our First Lady Michelle Obama inaugural speech outfit! So stay tuned manana when I post the footage and what I thought about it!

THE ART OF COMPROMISE
The art of Compromise came and had a visit with me last night. I felt like I was in a movie, I was standing on the corner of 23rd Street and 2nd Ave. in the snow crying and arguing with my other half. Bypassers were looking at us like we were crazy, some stopped and stared. We argued over why he was angry, why I act and do the things I do, and whats to come of the relationship. My first emotional reaction would be if I'm to much then just leave me but sometimes its not always that easy, especially when the other person is logical enough to fight it out with you! I have had my share of good and bad relationships and what it all comes down to for me is to take a step back, put myself in my partners shoes and see that it is me who suffers from past insecurities and to put my pride aside and be there to fight this battle out , which we call COMPROMISE! That scene from the movie was not a scene for me...standing on a New York City corner with the bright lights, busy traffic, and tons of people made me stand still in the midst of all that comotion and see my wonderful for what he truely is...he is that compromise that I am willing to put my issues aside for.

..men or should i say boys are really startin to bug me nowadays! the past few weeks ive had my own experiences be it friends or personal dealing with guys..men say that they will never understand women because we are to complex but in all actuality its men who are so hard to figure out!!! Its honestly doesnt take a scientist to figure out the female mind..its simple listen, be thoughtful and CONSISTENT with your emotions!!!!!
Guys now adays are more confused then ever with what they want and when they want it..be it oh i wanna be with you just not now, or they cant hadle the relationship because its getting to "hard", or i wanna be with you yet see other people its all just bullshit! Nowadays its the men who are wayyyyy more emotional then the women and expect us to handle or be perceptive of their hot and cold mood swings!!! Dont tell a girl one day you love her and u miss her and you wanna marry her then the next day oh i think we need to spread our wings...what kinda shit is that!!! Girls always say how they feel when it comes to their emotions and guys just disguise their feelings but in the end its YOU who are gonna wind up hurt cuz you didnt tell her how you really feel!!!!!
